Friends of Corlears Hook Park is happy to once again bring a safe, outdoor Halloween trick or treating opportunity to the park for all local families to enjoy.
We will have various stations set up throughout the park during the two hour period of 11am-1pm on Halloween, manned by local families and community groups, where kids can safely pick up some Halloween treats.
Advance registration has closed: If you did not register you can still attend and register on site when you arrive.
Candy donations are still being accepted, if you would like to donate candy to the event please email us.
We have a lot of families who have registered to attend so we ask that in order for us to have a safe event everyone follow the protocols listed below.
Please enter the park at the North Jackson Street entrance and exit at South Jackson Street entrance (see below map).
With the exception of one area where people will have to turn around, we would like to keep the trick or treating line in a one-way direction.
Please help keep the line of trick or treaters moving. Do not stop to chitchat or play with any neighbors or friends you might run into, move on to the next station after getting treats and exit the park when done so that we can let more people in.
NYC Parks is not requiring any COVID-safety guidelines currently but please do what you feel comfortable with as far as that goes. We will have masks and sanitizer on hand if needed. Hand sanitizer will be available on site as needed.
We ask parents/guardians to self-regulate for any kids with food allergies – there will be special purple bags at all stations with treats for kids with allergies.
We will have a handful of volunteers on hand helping with traffic flow and registration, please be courteous to them.
