It's My Park Day - Fall 2015
Held on Sunday November 8, 2015, nearly 80 volunteers helped rake and bag over 100 bags of leaves and weeds, plant over 1,000 daffodil bulbs and 4 new holly trees in the park. For more photos from the event visit our Facebook photo album.
Entryway Beautification Project - September 2015
A weekend-long planting event held in funded by grants from Partnership for Parks and Citizens Committee for New York City, as well as many private donations brought out a few dozen volunteers to help plant new entry-way garden beds along all of the Cherry Street entrances to the park. It's My Park Day - Spring 2015
In May of 2015 we held an event that combined fun activities for the kids with cleaning up the park. The kids had a great time with face painting, games and bubbles while their parents and others helped paint benches and bag up 40 bags of weeds, clippings and leaves. More photos here.
