Beautification events
Since our founding one of our primary missions has been the beautification and upkeep of the park. To that end we have hosted countless events to plant, weed, clean, paint and otherwise beautify the park. One of our most popular events is our annual post-Thanksgiving leaf rake-up where hundreds of bags of fallen leaves are cleared and typically sent to the Lower East Side Ecology Center for composting.
